Reliability Testing 1-Day Course

Course Description

This course covers reliability test and evaluation approaches. The course is ideal for persons with newly assigned responsibilities in the reliability and maintainability area, as well as managers who want to increase their awareness of the proper application of various reliability test approaches.

Who Should Take the Course

Individuals who need to know the basics of various reliability test approaches as they apply to developing and fielding better products and systems. Design engineers, reliability specialists, and product/program managers will benefit from the course.

What the Student Will Learn

The student will gain an appreciation of the application of various types of reliability tests to system and product success. They will understand the practices that are appropriate to apply for different development situations as well as the basics of implementing the practices cost effectively.

Included Materials

Attendees will receive a copy of the RIAC publication "System Reliability Toolkit" and Quanterion Solution's QuART PRO software, a $239 value.

Required Materials

Attendees should bring a scientific calculator and optionally a laptop computer.

Daniel Gonzalez

Picture of Daniel Gonzalez Mr. Gonzalez is a Senior Reliability Engineer at Quanterion Solutions and has more than 15 years experience in reliability research and in applying reliability approaches, particularly in telecommunication and industrial applications. He is an American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) is currently providing reliability engineering and quality engineering expertise on both government and industry projects, and is the company lead for projects to develop/distribute tools to automate reliability/quality practices. Mr. Gonzalez is a frequent instructor for a variety of reliability topics for industry, for the military and for NASA. Prior to joining Quanterion, Mr. Gonzalez gained extensive broad experience in reliability/ quality issues associated with a variety of different industries, from telecommunications to printers/copiers to microwave devices. At Quanterion, Mr. Gonzalez led the development of Quanterion's TRADES integrated reliability analysis products and has been instrumental in all Lead-free solder reliability efforts.
