The Reliability Information Analysis Center (RIAC) will be conducting three separate, stand-alone, three day courses at the Stetson Center in Celebration, FL (the town that Disney built - a planned community created by a real estate division of the Walt Disney Company). There is free parking available both on the premises and curbside. Celebration is located very near to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Resorts as well as other Orlando attractions areas (1.2 miles from Arabian Nights; 8.2 miles from Magic Kingdom; 8.6 miles from Epcot; 8.3 miles from Disney-MGM Studios; 13.3 miles from Universal Studios; and 10.7 miles from Sea World).

Closest Airport Driving Directions
  • From Daytona Beach, Orlando or Tampa: Take I-4 to Highway 192 East (Exit 64A) towards Kissimmee. Once on Highway 192, turn right at the third stoplight onto Celebration Avenue. Note: Celebration Avenue, not Celebration Place.(You will see the big Celebration water tower at the light where you need to make the turn.)

    Continue through three lights and four stop signs. After the fourth stop sign, you will see Celebration K-8 School on the right. On the left, just past some condominiums, will be Stetson University, 800 Celebration Avenue. They are in a three story earth-colored brick building. Turn left and use the Stetson Center’s free parking.

  • From Tampa Coming In from I-4 East: Travel I-4 towards Orlando Take Exit 62 (Disney - Celebration) Bear right towards Celebration At the stoplight (a tee in the road) turn left. Travel this boulevard about 1.3 miles. Turn right onto Waterside Drive Travel Waterside Drive until it ends at Celebration Avenue. Turn left onto Celebration Avenue and travel for about 0.6 mile. The Stetson Center at Celebration will be on the right. It is a three-story, earth-colored brick building. Turn right and use the Stetson Center’s free parking.

  • From Orlando International Airport: Arrange transportation from Orlando International Airport Take the south exit out of the airport to the 417 Greenway (Toll Road) towards Tampa /Disney. You will travel through two toll booths. Exit at Celebration Avenue, a 50-cent toll (Exact change required).

    Turn left off the ramp toward Celebration. Continue through four stop signs (don't count stop lights). After the fourth stop sign you will see Celebration K-8 School on the right. On the left, just past some condominiums, will be Stetson University, 800 Celebration Avenue. They are in a three story earth-colored brick building. Turn left and use the Stetson Center’s free parking.

Hotel Information
NOTE: You must call the hotels directly to get the discounts below. While it might be a good idea to check for special online or 800-number temporary promotions that might be lower than those below, participants who actually register online or by calling the 800 number will get the online or national rates and not the discount rates below.

The Bohemian Hotel Celebration, a partner with the Marriott Hotel Rewards Program, is walking distance to the facility. The rate is $139 except for 12/31. For reservations, call 888-249-4007 and mention the Stetson University discount code “USU.” Or simply follow the link and make your reservation online, where the discount code is already filled in. This rate does not include local and resort taxes, currently 13%.

The Mona Lisa Suite Hotel has special rates: January 1 - December 31, 2011: One Bedroom Suite: $109* and Two Bedroom Suite: $139*. This rate does not include local and resort taxes, currently 13%. Specify that you are with Stetson when making your reservation so that you will receive your special rate. **These rates are preferred corporate rates. However, in the event a lower rate is available at the time reservation is made and applicable to the guest arrival, then the best available rate will be extended to the guest.

For Stetson programs the Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration has a special rate of $84 per night. Added to the rates are 13% tax and an $11.30 service fee (activities fee). Be sure to refer to the Stetson University Corporate Rate when making reservations.

For Stetson programs, the Hampton Inn & Suites has a special rate of $99 per night. Added to the rate is the 13% local resort tax. Be sure to refer to the Stetson University Corporate Rate when making reservations.

The following discount schedule applies for course attendance by multiple persons from one corporate entity or institution when registering at the same time:

Training Schedule

Classes begin at 8:30AM, and conclude at 4:30PM. The schedule includes a continental breakfast starting at 8:00AM each day, morning and afternoon breaks with light refreshments, and a break for lunch (attendees are on their own for lunch).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received more than five (5) business days prior to the course start date are fully refundable. Cancellations received less than five (5) business days prior to the course start date are not refundable and are subject to the entire registration fee, which can be applied towards a future offering of any RIAC “Open” training course of the same value. Cancellation of a registration for a registrant receiving a multi-attendance discount (Bundle Offer) will forfeit that Bundle Offer for the other registrants in that group, resulting in adjustment to the other registrants’ registration fee to the full course amount. Please note that if you do not cancel and do not attend, you are still responsible for the registration fee. The RIAC reserves the right to cancel training courses at any time up to two (2) weeks prior to the start date. In the event that RIAC cancels, all registration fees will be refunded in full. The RIAC is not responsible for charges, other than registration fees paid, incurred by registrants from cancellation of any of the courses.
